I got jealous of all the folks getting sleep masks, but since we use a lamp to wake up several days a week, I didn’t know if it would help or if I would use it more than twice a week. I got the Bucky 40 Blinks from Amazon and so far I seem to mostly rip it off in my sleep. The head strap is too big, but I really didn’t want to invest in a fancier one just yet, so I’m just going to adjust them.

Do you use a sleep mask? Does it help?

    I’ve been using a sleep mask, and it does help. My mom got me this one for Christmas http://www.containerstore.com/shop/travel/travelEssentials?productId=10034340 and it seems to stay on pretty well. I usually get up at 8am, and since I don’t like the harsh feeling of going from total darkness to full sunlight, I take the mask off around 7:30, when B leaves for work. I’m groggy enough to fall back asleep in the dim light, but I still get a more gradual wakeup. I don’t know exactly what I’ll do in summer, when it’ll be light so much earlier…
